Too Young the Hero plot

Calvin Leon Graham is twelve years old but in reality looks much older. During the Second World War in 1942 he succeeds in enlisting in the US Navy. Despite his young age, he is awarded a Purple Heart for his bravery in the battle of Guadalcanal. But when he re-joins his unit after a leave of absence, his world comes crashing down.
