Too Good to Be True plot

Five years after his wife's death, author Richard Harland comes into contact with the beautiful Ellen through his best friend Glen. The spark immediately flies. Glen advises Richard to keep Ellen away. He's sure she won't make him and his crippled son Danny happy. In addition, she is engaged to Attorney Russell Quinton. But Richard likes Ellen and she likes him. They wed a few months after she ditched Russell. Only then does the writer discover how possessive, self-centered and jealous Ellen is and how her love devours people.
