Tôku no Sora ni Kieta plot

High school student Ryonosuke has moved to a small village with his father. His father is a civil servant who oversees the construction of a new, unpopular airport. Ryonosuke finds a new friend in Kohei, the village milkman. Kohei introduces Ryonosuke to all the eccentrics of the village, including Hiharu. A young girl who believes she can communicate with UFOs. Kohei's father, a biologist, who set out years ago to save endangered species. One day he returns and his first project is to lead a protest against the arriving airport and Ryonosuke's father.
