Mrs. Hậu lives with her family in a village where she passes on the endangered Viet language. She is a fountain of wisdom and shares knowledge about history and local folklore, among other things. Meanwhile, she yearns for the cave where she first saw the light of day more than sixty years earlier. The voice of her deceased mother echoes in her mind.
