Blind from birth, Harold Krents (Steve Guttenberg) decides that the dark world doesn't affect his strong will. He confronts all the obstacles he encounters, but the people he encounters cannot cope with his ambition and cheerfulness. He doesn't prosper in love either. His guide dog attacks his dates or women pity him. Until he meets Kit (Lisa Eilbacher), who falls in love with him for who he really is. Harold is no longer alone in his battle against the wind...
