Tinker plot
Grady Lee Jr. is a reclusive farmer who never married or had children. He lost his mother when he was young and by the time he turned 13, both his father and stepmother died in a car accident. Grady was taken care of by Randy, his best friend's father, and the family farm was preserved in this way. One day Grady finds his father's secret diary containing plans for a machine that works on electromagnetism. This machine could help his farm as well as the world. Grady starts building the machine with a friend, until he is called by a lawyer who informs him that he will be the guardian of his nephew.
