Timothy's Quest plot

Young Timothy cares for little Lady Gay, but when it looks like their heartless caretaker is planning to give them away, they flee the city together. Following their dream of a happy life, they travel to the countryside in search of a white farmhouse and find themselves hungry and desperate outside the home of spinster Avilda Cummins. Will Avilda's heart, hardened by past tragedies, soften toward the needy children?
