Timeless Melody plot
The young Kawamoto spends most of his time in a billiard room annex rehearsal room where there is some pool and music. It has become his home, at night he sleeps on one of the billiard tables. Other regulars include a girl who has dropped out of school and uses cards to predict the future, and a man who lives on a boat. The girl works as a waitress; she has only superficial contact with her mother who lives in Los Angeles. The man appears to officially no longer exist; years ago he went missing at sea and was pronounced dead. On the street, underworld types keep an eye on him.
