Ticket to Jerusalem plot

Jaber is a middle-aged Palestinian. He lives with his wife in a refugee camp outside Ramallah. Little remains a secret in the overcrowded camp. Everyone can enjoy quarrels. And there is a lot of arguing, because many men are unemployed and that does not contribute to a harmonious life. Jaber escapes the malaise by stubbornly clinging to his life goal: traveling around with a 16mm projector with which he shows films to children. With his animation films and comedies he gives them happy hours in the grim reality.
