Three o'Clock in the Morning plot
Elizabeth Winthrop parties day and night. Her debauchery leads her to New York where, with the help of the wealthy Hugh Von Strohm, she works as a dancer at Café Grotesque. Clayton Webster, Elizabeth's ex, is a successful engineer and comes to New York to bond with her. When they take a ride in his car, Elizabeth steps on the accelerator and hits a child. The child recovers and Clayton takes the blame and disappears behind bars. Elizabeth learns no wise lesson from all this and remains immature in her behavior. Then Von Strohm confronts her about her way of life.
