Thompson's Last Run plot
"Bound by friendship. Torn by duty."
Before retiring, Detective Red Hains has one more assignment: to escort his former childhood friend John Thompson out of Leavenworth Prison, where Thompson is serving his life sentence. However, with the help of a relative, Thompson manages to escape. Authorities believe Hains is complicit in the escape and send him into early retirement. However, this falls short of Hains' honor and he risks everything to prove his innocence. In the end, it comes to a final showdown between the former friends.
