This Was America plot

The year 2030. Donald Trump has refused to leave office after the 2020 elections and has issued orders that have turned the country into a totalitarian state. These include the deportation of illegal immigrants. After her mother's arrest, seventeen-year-old Violet Maine is taken by illegal Briton David. He wants to reunite Violet with her mother and the two leave for the Canadian border. An FBI bounty hunter is after them.
