This Is Where We Live plot

Noah, a man haunted by his past, finds himself in the world of the Texan Sutton family, who are in trouble. He is hired as a caretaker for August, an intelligent, spastic boy. August's sister is an estranged teenager with tantrums, his mother is overweight and has hypertension and his father shows symptoms of Alzheimer's disease. A friendship develops between August and Noah.
