Based on the eventful life of aviator Amy Johnson who flew solo around the world in 1930. In the 1930s, she was an acclaimed heroine complete with songs of praise and a worldwide fan club. The film highlights her problems with the media, hubby and airplanes, and casually gives a glimpse of the aviation industry before WWII.
