"GYPS OFF THE OLD BLOCK!"
Lemuel P. Twine has launched his own patented pudding. The pudding is rich in the good vitamin Z. Lemuel's daughter Helen is in love with Jimmy. However, this is against her mother's wishes, because she wants her daughter to marry Lester Cadwalader. Lester's father supports Lemuel, but only does so so that the opposing candidate can win. However, due to the discovery of the vitamin Z, it looks like Lemuel could win the election. This is against the wishes of the Cadwalader Sr. and he decides to do something about it.
