Théo et Marie plot

France, autumn 1944. 14-year-old Théo Valmore has to watch helplessly as his mother Adeline is arrested. Théo is desperate and he heads for Paris to settle there with his grandfather. On his way he meets Marie, an orphan of eleven years, with whom he continues his journey. Adeline, for her part, plays doubles with Marcelle, a resistance fighter.
