The Widow's Last plot

Ireland, 1847. The country is in the midst of its famine, the 'Great Hunger', which is leaving the population sicker, starving and desperate. Kathryn Healy is a young and poor widow desperate to save her dying son Michael. When she meets an English landlord, she is faced with a choice.
