The Vixen plot
Elsie Drummond is a spoiled nymphomaniac who delights in confusing her dear sister, Helen. When Helen falls for Martin Stevens, a Wall Street businessman, Elsie uses her considerable charm to win him over. After Charlie Drummond, Elsie's lazy brother, steals from Stevens and causes a scandal, Stevens is financially ruined, and Elsie promptly leaves him. Through deliberate manipulation, Elsie then steals Knowles Murray, a young statesman, from Helen and manages to marry him. Elsie and Murray move to Paris, leaving Helen to care for their alcoholic father.
