The Valley of the Giants plot
"Rugged Drama Among the Mighty Redwoods of California!"
Bryce Cardigan, son of lumber baron John Cardigan, returns home after several years of travel. Shirley Pennington, daughter of a rival lumber baron, arrives on the same train and meets Bryce. At home, Bryce finds his father blind and the company in jeopardy. Because Pennington, the rival lumber baron, denies their company the use of the local railroad, Bryce decides to build his own railroad, borrows money to finance it, and hires a friend, Buck, to build it. However, this will not come about without a struggle.
