Meg Merlin attends ballet school, but instead of class she prefers to be in the theater to see her role model Ariane Bouchet perform. Much to Meg's chagrin, the lead role in Swan Lake does not go to her idol but to the prima ballerina La Darina. Meg decides to take revenge and plans to turn off the spotlight at the premiere. Instead, she accidentally opens a hatch in the stage and La Darina takes such a merciless fall that she will never be able to dance again....
