The Turning plot

After four years, Clifford Harnish returns to his hometown of Pocahontas, Virginia. He hopes to find his family and do a better job of his troubled childhood. When he arrives, he learns that his parents are getting divorced. He also has to see that his mother is an alcoholic and that his father is happy with another woman. He wants to help everything and everyone, but will he succeed?
