The Trojan Women plot
"The strength of mankind has always been its women."
Hecuba and the other women of the city of Troy see their city in ruins and their situation seems lost. Troy has fallen into Greek hands and it is probable that their fate will become slaves of the Greek soldiers. A messenger approaches the women to inform them that the Greek soldiers have drawn the lots and that they will soon be collecting the woman of their lot. Very important appears to be Hecuba's daughter, Cassandra. Cassandra is assigned as a bed slave for the Greek king. When she has received the message of her new destiny, Kassandra goes into hiding and swears by the gods that she wishes to remain a virgin. One day, Cassandra is found…
