The Tongues of Men plot

The singer Jane Bartlett unfairly has a dubious reputation. She is excommunicated from the pulpit by the pedantic Reverend Sturgis. Jane wants revenge on the preacher and she decides to seduce him. She wants to prove to him that she is a respectable woman.
