The Tichborne Claimant plot
True story of the Tichborne Claimant, the man who claimed Lord Tichborne's heritage in the late 1800s. The perspective of the story lies with the family's African servant (John Kani). He was sent to Australia around 1875 to track down the missing heir. The clerk finds a candidate (Robert Pugh) but due to circumstances his claim is rejected. Pugh goes to court to prove his point and finds lawyer Hawkins (Stephen Fry) facing him.
