"In a Horse Or Man, What Makes a Thoroughbred?"

The honest-to-goodness Tod Taylor is a top jockey and the big favorite at a prestigious horse racing competition. But his opponents use an attractive young lady to seduce him into a night of gambling that will leave him deeply in debt in no time. Tod gets one chance to get rid of his debts: he has to lose the game. But that would be a noose for his fiancée and his soon-to-be father-in-law. How is Tod going to work his way out?
