The Sun Comes Up plot
"A grand threesome who will win your heart!"
The embittered widow and former opera singer Helen Lorfield Winter blames the death of her son on the Scottish collie Lassie. Wanting to raise a child again, Helen adopts young Jerry from an orphanage. At first she remains aloof with charming Jerry, who soon befriends Lassie. As time goes by, Helen can't help but develop feelings for Jerry. One day, Lassie saves Jerry from a fire at the orphanage, and Helen will have to judge Lassie differently from now on.
