The Struggle plot
Drink-addicted young miller Jimmie Wilson vows to stop drinking when he marries the attractive Florrie. But the stress at work and the pressures of marriage with fatherhood put Jimmie back into his old habit. Due to his regular drunkenness, Jimmie is fired and has been roaming the streets ever since. One day, Jimmie's daughter Mary is put in danger by a heavy snow storm and he must come to his senses to save her.
