The Strip plot

After leaving the US military, young musician Stan Maxton becomes involved with a criminal bookmaker from whom he earns a lot of money. His girlfriend Jane dreams of a film career in Hollywood. To help her on her way, he introduces her to the bookmaker. It all goes wrong. Their contact with the bookmaker leads them to be suspected of murder.
