The Squatter's Daughter plot

Joan Enderby is in charge of her family's shelf farm. But she's afraid of losing this because they can't afford to buy the property from the Sherringtons, from nearby Waratah station. When Ironbark Sherrington travels to London to find a cure for his eye condition, his son Clive and Fletcher, the superintendent, make plans to bankrupt Enderby station.
