The Sin Flood plot

Stratton's cafe is located on the banks of the Mississippi. When the high-water alarm goes off one day, he locks the watertight doors of his establishment. Inside are real estate agent Bill Bear, chorus girl Poppy, a drifter, a drunken preacher, a shy lawyer, an unemployed actor and two cotton merchants. When the regulars realize that they may all die by drowning, they want to mend their ways.
