The Shop Girl plot

On board an ocean liner, model Winifred Childs starts a relationship with Peter Rolls, the heir to a large fortune. But Peter's sister Ena, who disapproves of the union and wants her brother to marry a high-society girl, tells Winifred that Peter, with her, is just having fun and that for him it is just a flirtation among many. Disappointed, Winifred avoids the man who tries in vain to meet her.
