The Shillingbury Blowers plot
The equilibrium of a small English village is disturbed by the arrival of pop star Peter Higgins and his wife Sally. He is soon asked to take over as conductor of the local marching band when the current conductor is criticized for the bad and foul play of the marching band and resigns. The pop star tries to improve the marching band, but the members of the marching band don't like the new conductor and oppose his appointment.
