The late 1960s. A San Francisco indie filmmaker (Jared Martin) is obsessed with the idea of making a film featuring a woman like Jesus Christ. That's why he hires the young, beautiful Suzanne (Sondra Locke) as the lead actress. However, Clavius (Richard Dreyfuss), a member of the film crew, is concerned about the company's increasingly weird and erotic antics.
