The Reckoning plot
"The truth shall come to light"
England, the fourteenth century. Nicolas, a priest on the run, joins an itinerant group of actors. The players, led by the charismatic Martin, arrive in a small town where a woman has just been sentenced to death for witchcraft and murder. They decide to forgo their usual Biblical performances and take inspiration from crime and condemnation. During the game, they soon find out that the residents of the town know very well that the convicted woman did not commit the murder.
