The Re-Creation of Brian Kent plot

To satisfy all the wishes of a demanding woman, Brian Kent steals a large sum of money from the bank where he works. Overwhelmed by remorse, the man then attempts suicide on a boat bobbing in a turbulent river. However, the small boat becomes entangled in the branches of the willows along the bank, and Brian meets Judy, a girl who lives nearby and introduces him to her Aunt Sue. The latter, a kind teacher, has a positive influence on Brian, who, in an attempt to leave the past behind, becomes a changed man and even begins to write a book.
