The Rapist plot
Naina, a professor of criminal psychology, is sexually assaulted in a slum she visits to help the daughter of a school overseer embroiled in a domestic violence and infanticide case. Naina survives the assault, but her companion who accompanied her does not. She fights against social prejudice and testifies in court, leading to the death sentence of the rapist and murderer. Later, Naina discovers she is pregnant and tries to cope with her trauma in her own way.
