The People plot

A young woman is assigned to a school in a remote valley to teach. The people are stiff, secretive and don't seem to be having fun. When she follows two children playing in the forest, she discovers that the community is made up of aliens. Their behavior stems from their fear of being discovered. They are afraid of being judged and hated for their origin.
