The Peace of Roaring River plot

Madge Nelson is ordered to move to the countryside for health reasons. Her finances prevent her from leaving the city, so she answers an ad for a mail-order bride for miner Hugo Ennis in Nevada. Hugo, however, has been the unwilling victim of an attempted humiliation by a former lover, and when Madge arrives in Nevada, she discovers that he knows nothing about a bride or wedding plans.
