"On the run from the past, she found herself"
Rose finds out during her pregnancy that she does not love her husband. She leaves him, leaving only a note letting him know about her pregnancy. She finds shelter in a hotel run by nuns. In the hotel, which mainly accommodates pregnant women, Rose wants to stay until after the birth and she has given her child away for adoption. In the end, she decides to keep her daughter Cecelia and marries the hotel's concierge, Son. But Rose eventually becomes estranged from her daughter and her husband and leaves them when Cecelia is fifteen years old. But then Cecelia's father shows up and Rose's mother is dying. Will Rose return to her family?
