"There's a thin line between love and hate"
Tessa, a single mother, isn't exactly fond of her ex's new wife, Carolyn. She is young, beautiful and a famous fashion model. Tessa cares for her fourteen-year-old daughters Kate and nine-year-old Lara, who share her hostile feelings toward the new woman in their father's life. Carolyn hides the pain she feels from their rejection behind a mask of sarcasm. However, when it turns out that Tessa is terminally ill, the relationships are very different.
