The Office Scandal plot
Journalist Jerry Cullen befriends a former colleague who has fallen into disarray because of alcohol abuse. Jerry gets him a job in the newspaper office. Then there is a murder mystery, but due to lack of clues, the investigation is stopped again. One day, the widow of the murdered man comes with a clue, which makes the journalist suspected of the murder.
