The More Excellent Way plot

Although she is fascinated by Robert Neyland, a typical villain who pleases women, Chrissy Desselden marries John Warburton, her guardian. After the wedding, however, she asks her husband not to consummate the marriage until she is sure of his love. After questioning herself, Chrissy decides to fall in love with Neyland. But Neyland is not satisfied. Chrissy's love is not enough for him, because he also wants Warburton's financial ruin.
