The Moorside plot

Mother Karen Matthews's emotional public appeals for information about her daughter are unsuccessful and the community, led by Julie Bushby, fully supports her and makes extraordinary efforts to find Shannon. But despite the support, some of them begin to doubt Karen's behavior. Friend and neighbor Natalie struggles with her conscience when she becomes convinced that Karen knows more than she is telling.
