The Memory of Eva Ryker plot
In 1939 a luxurious cruise ship is hit by a torpedo, after which the ship sinks ingloriously. In 1961, millionaire William E. Ryker (Ralph Bellamy), who lost his wife during the event, hires writer Norman Hall (Robert Foxworth) to investigate the ship's sinking. It seems that Ryker's grown daughter Eva (Natalie Wood), who survived the disaster, is carrying a secret, despite the fact that she is allegedly not in her right mind. However, after several other survivors are killed, it becomes critical to learn what more Eva knows about the accident.
