The Man Who Found Himself plot

Young Jim Stanton is a gifted surgeon, but spends too much time on his passion: flying. When Jim crashes his plane and kills a married woman, the hospital suspends him indefinitely. Jim decides to roam the country. In Los Angeles, he is arrested for vagrancy and put to work. When Jim runs into his old friend Dick Miller, he gives him a job as a mechanic at Roberts Aviation. However, it becomes increasingly difficult for Jim to maintain his anonymity, especially when beautiful sister Doris King decides to make it her personal mission to restore Jim's reputation.
