"With a suitcase full of song, Hearts filled with passion, two brothers come to America in search of a dream."
1952. The Castillo brothers and their orchestra are extremely popular in Cuba. Nestor is in love with the beautiful Maria and wants to marry her. Club owner Luis has also set his sights on her. He is willing to do anything to take out his rival. Out of fear for Nestor's life, Maria marries Luis. She also begs Nestor to leave the country. The brothers leave for America where their first performance with their own orchestra is a resounding success.
