The Love of Truman plot

"The Love of Truman" begins when a man happens to meet a woman on the subway who introduces herself as Truman. She tells him that this "set" sometimes has "errors" and no longer works. Nine months later, the man begins to believe her. Instead of escaping the set, however, they set out to find other "Trumans" like herself. Then the film itself seems to have a "error," and the protagonist shifts. The film is a laborious search for what is real amidst all the fakery.
