The Lion plot

Young Tina lives with her mother Christine and stepfather John Bullit in a game reserve in Kenya. While John believes this is a wonderful environment for Tina to grow up, Christine becomes increasingly concerned about her daughter's behavior. This concern is heightened when it turns out that the best friend in the whole world for her daughter is an adult lion. Afraid that her daughter will turn into a savage, Christine brings her former husband and Tina's biological father, Robert Hayward, from Connecticut. Christine hopes he can take her back to civilization. But it seems that Christine wants something more than a civilized upbringing for her daughter.
