"One night can change your life forever."
Bonnie, a successful young Hispanic architect, is walking home when she is assaulted. She tries to keep the abuse a secret from her boyfriend Matt, but the truth soon emerges. Bonnie emphatically denies the impact of what happened to her and wants to take back control. She wants to regain the intimacy in her life, but that is easier said than done. When another woman nearby is abused, Bonnie goes into even more denial before an encounter with a woman forces her to confront the truth.
