"Overnight, she became a star...Over many nights, she became a legend."

After the mysterious death of Hollywood star Lylah Clare, egocentric director Lewis Zarkan gets another chance to make a film with Elsa Brinkman, namely a film about the deceased Lylah. Elsa appears to have a lot of talent, but suffers more and more from the fact that Zarkan wants to force her into Lylah's role.
